REFFERENCES

Margret Smith

Reverend Jim and Alice did a fantastic job with our wedding.  We could not have been more pleased.  We put our wedding together in 2 weeks and they responded quickly.  They assisted us with putting the ceremony together - they listened to how we wanted it to look and offered great suggestions when asked.

The ceremony itself was wonderful.  Reverend Jim did a fantastic job of making everything heartfelt, joyous and touching.  I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending him.

Warm regards and congratulations!

----------------------------------------------

My husband an I found Jim and Alice to be very easy to work with and very accommodating.  It was very important for us to find someone who could remain neutral during the service since we both come from different religious backgrounds (Catholic and Presbyterian).    We found Jim Fisher just a few weeks before our wedding after our first officiant developed a conflict with our date.  We look at it as the best thing that could have happened.  He was able to provide us a warm and spiritual service while remaining neutral.  It was a wonderful and relaxing day.

We worked with Jim and Alice via email to write our service and vows.  We were able to include religion since it is a very important part of our lives, but took a non-denominational approach.  Our guests have complimented our service and our choice of a Reverend.  They felt the words chosen as well as Jim's presentation were very appropriate and respectful for our mixed faiths.  We were also grateful that pre-counseling wasn't an expectation.  With our time constraint, it was a relief!

We hope this information has been helpful and wish you the best in the future.

The Prayer

~ By St. Francis of Assisi ~
Lord, make
us instruments of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let us sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is discord, union;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy;
O Divine Master, Grant that we may not so much seek
To be consoled as to console,
To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Amen
